Motion Simulation in Simcenter application Participants can use to animate and analyse both kinematic and dynamic motion mechanisms in terms of critical design positions, forces, velocities, and accelerations. Upon successful completion of this course, Participants will understand how to apply and edit motion simulations, use motion simulations to analyse, troubleshoot and optimize a mechanism design.

Program Objectives

1Manage multiple motion simulations.

2Apply forces, torques, springs, dampers, bushings, and contact in a motion simulation.

3Query a motion simulation for information and edit both model and simulation features.

4Apply packaging options to generate feedback in the form of marker and component tracing, critical measurements, and interference checking

5Use spreadsheets and graphing to both animate and analyze a motion simulation.

6Use advanced solutions to simulate component flexibility, transfer loads for a finite element analysis, and control an electric motor.

 

Outcome of the Course

After successfully completing this course, Participants should be able to perform the following tasks in Simcenter.
1.Combine rigid bodies (links), joints, and motion drivers to create a mechanism and set it into motion.
2.Manage multiple motion simulations.
3.Apply forces, torques, springs, dampers, bushings, and contact in a motion simulation.
4.Query a motion simulation for information and edit both model and simulation features.
5.Apply packaging options to generate feedback in the form of marker and component tracing, critical measurements, and interference checking.
