About Lab:
This Lab imparts the student’s / industry personnel would be taught how to create
manufacturing planning, planning validation via simulation & production interface and
managing the entire lifecycle of a product.
Manufacturing is the final stage of Product life cycle. This involves the development
of product from design to Manufacturing process. This lab covers three important domains
which involves in Product life cycle, that is Plant Design, Plant Simulation and Validation and
Computer Aided Manufacturing(CAM).

Technomatix Robcad enables the design, simulation, optimisation, analysis and
off-line programming of multi-device robotic and automated manufacturing processes in
the context of product and production resource information

Technomatix process design solutions allow you to associate and reconcile multiple
configurations of product bills of materials (EBOMs), manufacturing bills of materials
(MBOMs) and bills of process (BOPs). You can also validate manufacturing planning
decisions by using advanced visualization and analytical tools. Our solution allows
design and manufacturing engineers to concurrently develop product and process
planning definitions. This ensures that manufacturing constraints can be reconciled
during product design, resulting in more efficient manufacturing plans.

Teamcenter (PLM):

Product lifecycle management (PLM) is an information management system that
can integrate data, processes, business systems and, ultimately, people in an extended
enterprise. PLM software allows you to manage this information throughout the entire
lifecycle of a product efficiently and cost-effectively from ideation, design and
manufacture through service and disposal.
